Host Family Letter

Hi^^ Ich würd mich freuen, wenn ihr in dem Letter kurz nach Fehlern etc. suchen und mir Verbessrungsvorschläge geben könntet:

Dear host family,
first of all I’d really like to thank you, because you give me the chance to do an exchange year in Japan. Since we haven’t met, I think I shopuld tell you something about me.
I’m fifteen years old, but I’ll turn sixteen soon. I’m from the north of Germany, from ****, which is a village in Schleswig-Holstein near ****. I live with my parents, my two years older brother and our pets - a dog, four cats, four guinea pigs and some fish. My family is important to me, and I think I have a good relationship to all family members. There was a time were my brother and I didn’t like each other, but I think nearly all siblings go through that time, and now we get along really well.
My hobbies are riding and standard dance, what I do once a week. I don’t have my own horse, but the riding school has schoolponies on which we can ride. I also really love reading, books as well as mangas. I spend some time in front of my computer, too, where I usually chat with my friends. The rest of my spare time I usually spend with my best friend, with whom I often watch animes or just talk.
I want to do an exchange year because I’d love to get to know a new culture, and what would be better for this if not living one year abroad? I’ve been interested in the Japanese culture for some time now, and I also really like the language. I think Japanese sounds amazing when you hear it, and I’d be glad if I could speak it fluently after my exchange year.
My job at home is to tidy up my room, feed our cats and sometimes also our guinea pigs and to walk our dog. My family and I sometimes go to the cinema together, or just watch a movie at home. We traveled sometimes, a few times to Spain and one time to Greece, but our dog wouldn’t want to stay in Germany without us, so we didn’t travel much for a few years, only in Germany when we visited family and friends.
I hope we’ll have a great year together, and I’m really looking forward to get to know you.
Lots of Greetings from Germany, Franka.

Also ich finde den ja gut.
Darf ich fragen, mit welcher Organisation du gehst?
Ich bin momentan auch in Japan, muss aber bald wieder zurück… :frowning:
Viel Spaß!
