ich sitze gerade an meinem Host family letter. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir mal sagen wie ihr den findet und ob ihr noch Verbesserungen habt (auch sprachlich!!!)
Dear Host family,
First off all I want to say thank you for reading my letter and giving me the chance to live in the USA for ten months.
I would like to say something about me and my activities outside of school. Twice a week I have soccer practice and Saturday normally I have games. I play soccer since I´m seven years old. Apart from soccer I go weekly to the scouts. In my Town are many troops and we are the smallest one. To scouts I go for six years and the most of my friends are there too, so I can use it to go to scouts and meet my friends. Besides my club activities I like to shoot photos and videos. In the Town in which I live, many people ride for all they do by bike; the Town is famous for the many bikes. Because of this I love to ride my bike too, and because of this possibility I´m very flexible to meet friends and do activities I like. Also I really like to try new sports and activities.
Now I want to say something about my family and my home. At home we are my mum and me. We live in a flat near Downtown. We have an allotment, where we are often do garden work or only relax. Normally in the evening my mum and I cook the dinner. I like to cook and bake. In addition to my mum in my family are my grandpa and grandma, and my godmother and godfather. They don´t life at my home, but not really far away. My family is protestant. We don’t go to church every week, but if you go to church I want to come with you.
Through an exchange I want to learn more about the USA and the ‚American way of life‘. I also hope that I’m going to be more independent and of course making friends and improve my English.
This has been a very big dream for such a long time and I´m so happy that it will be real.
