Dear host family,
First of all I would like to thank you for welcoming me in your family for six months and giving me the chance to know how an Irish family lives and get to know a fascinating land. IŽm very curious and I am looking forward to experience your country.
So to get you to know me a little bit better I would like you to tell something about me, my hobbies, my family and my daily life.
My name is …, IŽm twenty yeary old and lives in …, the provinicial capital of … in Germany…lies at the Baltic Sea and the part of the city that i live is near at the Kiel Fjord.
My hair is brown and i have green eyes, IŽm ca. 1,60 cm height and slim. I live with my mother and my father in a house with a small garden, near the centre. My mother called …, she is 45 years old and a housewife, my father called …, he is 47 years old and he is a Wasserbauer. IŽm sad to say that i havenŽt siblings, i wish that all the time. But i have a good relationship with my parents.
I love animals, i have two guineapigs called Punker and Ville and two snakes they called fridolin and paula, also we have a wellensittich and a lot of fish.
In my free time i like to listen a lot of music, meet friends or read books. IŽm interested in photography and take a lot of photos by myself in the nature. My taste of music is very varied, i like Rock-Music, Heavy Metal, Ska and Reggea, but also i like folk (specially Irish folk!!) and music with medieval instruments. I visit a lot of concerts and festivals.
When i spend time with my friends we talk about anything and everything and have a nice evening in a bar, a restaurant, coffee bar or in a club. Or we go on a shoppingtour!
I have a lot of books, specially crimes, fantasy or lovestorys, two of my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett and Haruki Murakami.
I donŽt go in for sports, but maybe i like a irish sport?
IŽm very enterprising and i like to travel and see other countrys and whose people, cultures and their lifestyle.
I would like to adventure and see a lot of Ireland and experience your country!
I would like to describe me as a happy person, but i can also shy. IŽm interested for new things and …bla das weiß ich nich.

My friends describe me as a happy, amusingly, insightfully, very nicely, empathetically, senitive, faithfully, truthfully, obligingly and fun-loving.
In the year 2004 IŽm finished my secondary school certificate on the …in …, in august 2004 i start my education as dental- assistant and finished that in 2007. Since that i work in this job and established as much i like the work with children and will follow my career in this orientation.
contingent on this job i have a lot of varied experience with nervous and fearfully children, but in other moments she makes a laugh (?) and are very funny.
My boss had a two years old daughter and sometimes we have a look at she. (?)
For a few years i have done baby-sitting from time to time in the neighbourhood and had a lot of fun.
Before i begin with the Au-Pair i would like to do a practical work in a playschool and to attend on a english- course. Beside i must cancel my job, besides i have to heeding the cancelation period, that is why i hope i hear from you as fast as possible . I hope i can live at you from january to june.
I have decided to Au-Pair because i will get to know a new country and new people, i have fun to look after kids, to gain experience, to improve my command of english and take more individuality.
After the time as Au-Pair i will begin a education as governess.
